At Balanced Plumbing and Roofing, we aim to deliver professional, reliable service with clear communication and honest expectations. These Terms and Conditions outline the standards, limitations, and responsibilities involved in our work. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms.

Terms and Conditions
1. Scope of Work
All work will be carried out as outlined in the accepted quote or invoice. Any changes or additional work required outside the agreed scope will be communicated and quoted separately before proceeding. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Work may be adjusted if unforeseen site conditions are discovered.
2. Workmanship
We complete all services to a high standard and to the best of our professional ability. However, due to existing site conditions (such as prior damage, restricted access, or aged infrastructure), we cannot always guarantee full resolution of underlying issues unless stated otherwise.Temporary or stop-gap repairs are not warrantied.
3. Warranty
We offer a 12 month workmanship warranty on new installations. Repairs or partial works—such as joining new materials to existing components—may not be covered under warranty unless specified in writing. Manufacturer warranties apply where applicable. Warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, or damage caused by third parties or unrelated events.
4. Materials
We use quality materials suited to the task. If specific materials are unavailable, equivalent alternatives may be used unless otherwise agreed upon.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Invoice Terms
Payment is due within 14 days from the date of invoice unless prior arrangements have been made in writing.
5.2 Late Payment Fees
If payment is not received within 5 days after the due date, a late fee of $25 or 3% of the outstanding amount (whichever is greater) may be applied to cover administrative and processing costs.
5.3 Continued Non-Payment
Invoices outstanding for more than 30 days may be referred to a debt recovery agency, and the customer may be liable for any reasonable recovery costs incurred.
5.4 Future Service
Balanced Plumbing and Roofing reserves the right to withhold or delay future services in the event of unpaid invoices or ongoing payment disputes.
6. Access and Safety
Clients must ensure safe, clear access to all relevant areas of the property. If unsafe or obstructed conditions are present, work may be delayed or rescheduled until resolved. If access is not provided as agreed and a return visit is required, a call-out fee may apply.
7. Rubbish Removal
We will remove and dispose of all job-related rubbish and debris upon completion unless agreed otherwise. Special waste such as asbestos, concrete, or excess green waste may incur additional disposal fees.
8. Limit of Liability
Balanced Plumbing and Roofing is not liable for pre-existing issues, concealed defects, or damage caused by unrelated factors. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages resulting from delays or complications during the course of work. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, material shortages, or supplier issues.
9. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Short-notice cancellations may incur a call-out fee.
